Who We Are
The International Student Aid Association (ISAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through education — starting in Haiti.
Founded in 2020 by Edvardine Joseph, ISAA was created with a simple but powerful belief: education is the key to self-sufficiency. Through targeted programs and partnerships, ISAA connects resources with students who show promise, determination, and a desire to create lasting change within their communities...

ISAA Youth Enrichment Program
We’re developing the ISAA Youth Enrichment Program, a tutoring and mentorship initiative designed to support elementary and middle school students in Fairfield County. This program will pair younger students with dedicated high school volunteers to build academic confidence, leadership skills, and community connection. Our goal is to foster a collaborative environment where students learn, grow, and celebrate their achievements together.
We’re currently gathering interest from local schools, students, and potential partners — if you’d like to get involved, volunteer, or help us launch this initiative, we’d love to connect with you!
Stories Without Borders
Join us for Stories Without Borders, a virtual book club that connects readers through powerful works by international authors. Hosted on Zoom with small breakout discussions, this program is designed to spark global conversation, cultural understanding, and community. We’re currently gathering interest and curating our first reading list — so if you’d like to participate or suggest a book, we’d love to hear from you!
